A fire hydrant may be installed on an existing main, or be relocated, as approved by the city. Hydrants shall be installed or relocated in accordance with the city of Auburn design and construction standards. A written permit is required to install or relocate a hydrant. A permit application and inspection fee shall be charged in accordance with the city of Auburn fee schedule. (Ord. 5944 § 1, 2005.)
