The city reserves the right to require any customer to install, as a condition of water service, a pressure reducing valve, backflow prevention assembly, pressure relief valve or similar devices at any location where the city determines a need to protect the municipal water system. Protective devices shall comply with requirements of the Washington State Department of Health, the city’s cross connection control program and the city’s design and construction standards.
