The city shall conduct periodic inspections of both its water system and nonpublic water supply systems connected to the city’s water system in coordination with the Washington State Department of Health. The city shall from time to time promulgate, publish and enforce such rules and regulations deemed necessary to protect the municipally owned water supply from contamination.
