Special flood hazard area (SFHA)” means the land subject to inundation by the base flood. Special flood hazard areas are identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the scientific and engineering reports entitled “Flood Insurance Study for King County, Washington and Incorporated Areas” dated April 19, 2005, and any revisions thereto, and “Flood Insurance Study for Pierce County, Washington and Unincorporated Areas” dated August 19, 1987, and any revisions thereto, and designated on associated flood insurance rate maps with the letter “A” including AE, AO, AH, A1 – 99.
