A. The city council may affirm, modify, or disaffirm the recommendations of the hearing examiner in accordance with ACC 2.46.170.

B. The majority of the city council shall instruct the city attorney to prepare an ordinance reflecting its decision. The ordinance shall include formal findings of fact and conclusions supporting the decision. If the decision is for approval with conditions, the conditions shall be specified in the ordinance. The ordinance shall be recorded in accordance with ACC 18.68.060. (Ord. 5092 § 1, 1998.)
