A. This title as adopted hereby and as it may hereafter be amended, supplemented and modified shall be known as, and may be cited as, the Auburn Criminal Code, as a part of the Auburn City Code.

B. The provisions of this code shall apply to offenses committed after the effective date of the ordinance by which it was adopted.

C. If any provision of this code, or its application to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the remainder of the code, or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances, is not affected, and to this end the provisions of this code are declared to be severable.

D. Section captions are for organizational purposes only and shall not be construed as part of this code. (Ord. 5682 § 1, 2002.)
