The prior city logo depicted above is a stylized portrayal of the city, depicting the community, with a steam locomotive traveling through the Auburn Valley, and Mt. Rainier in the background. The words “City of Auburn, Washington” and “1891,” the year of Auburn’s incorporation, are integrated into the design. This city logo shall be operational and continue to be valid as the city’s logo until the thirty-first day of December, 2004, after which this logo shall no longer constitute a city logo.
