In addition to the penalties specified in ACC 10.40.040 through 10.40.090, the police department of the city may impound any vehicle parked in a municipal off-street parking facility of the city in violation of ACC 10.40.010 through 10.40.025 and ACC 10.40.035. Any vehicle impounded pursuant to the terms of this chapter shall be placed in such storage lot within the city limits as may be convenient to the police department, and all charges for storage shall be paid by the registered owner of the vehicle before the owner or any other person may take possession thereof.
