Applications for storm permits that have been issued but not completed shall be valid for 365 days. All permits issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be valid for a period of 365 days after the date of permit issuance. Permits may be extended by the city, in 180-day increments, if an extension is applied for prior to the expiration of the permit. If the time extension is not requested prior to the expiration of the permit, a new permit is required and an additional fee equal to one-half the original permit shall be charged.
